Agency for tourism of the Government of Irkutsk region is an executive body of the government of Irkutsk region. The Agency performs functions of state regulation concerning tourist activities and management in the sphere of organizing and operating of health – improving region areas and resorts.
The Agency performs the following functions:
1) promotion of tourist activities and creation of favorable conditions for its development in the Irkutsk region;
2) making an image of the Irkutsk region as a territory which is appropriate for tourists;
3) facilitation of tourism industry in the Irkutsk region;
4) providing tourism information in the Irkutsk region.
